No need to thank me for posting this -- you all should just thank me for staying up until 4 a.m. working on homework and half-watching "PepsiMax Tónlist" in the wee hours on SkjárEinn. ;')
I think I should run a PR/ad agency for Icelandic rappers and pseudo-rappers. It seems that a large part of my role as a blogger over the past year has been sharing Icelandic rap music with the world (as well as exposing bad musicians like BMV...)
Yessica is a American expat originally from the beer-and-cheese state of Wisconsin although she has also served time as a tech slave in northern California. Her name is usually Jessica, but "j" is pronounced like "y" in Iceland.
Yessica likes lattes, Belgian beers, documentaries, bratwurst, stupid postcards, stretchy pants, Excel spreadsheets, Doritos, and world domination.
Yessica's goal is to be featured in Iceland's gossip mag "Séð og Heyrt". Other than that, she spends her days fulfilling her duties as a "viking wife" and observing the often bewildering behavioral patterns of Icelanders. Sometimes she witnesses something so funny/sad/fucked up that she feels compelled to blog about it.
